Pepe, who was limited to just 18 appearances last season, is out of contract at Real Madrid this summer.

The 34-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to mega-rich Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks.

And according to Spanish radio station Onda Cero, Pepe hopes his Portuguese compatriot Ronaldo will follow him in moving to the French capital.

Ronaldo, 32, is said to have told Real Madrid he wants to leave the European champions this summer following allegations over tax fraud.

According to reporters, they understands Chelsea are interested in signing Ronaldo and are willing to use long-term Real Madrid target Eden Hazard as part of any deal to win the race for his signature.

While a return to Manchester United has also been touted, with Ronaldo said to be open to making a return to Old Trafford after leaving eight years ago.

Pepe and Ronaldo have won 11 major honours during their time together at Real, including two La Liga titles and two Champions League crowns.

The pair also guided Portugal to European Championship glory last year.

Pepe revealed earlier this month that he has received offers from the Premier League after confirming his Bernabeu departure.

“It is clear that I will not continue at Real Madrid,” Pepe told Spanish radio station Cope.

“One stage is over and, from now on, another one will start. There are more offers, also from England.”
